How You Can Support the Rock Aqua Jays
The Rock Aqua Jays are funded solely through donations, advertising, fundraising, and membership dues. We receive no public funding. None of our members are paid. In fact, we are all volunteers and pay dues to belong.
Local businesses and individuals alike have supported us over the years by advertising in our souvenir program book, becoming a Friend of the Rock Aqua Jays, putting a few bucks in the "hat" during intermission of our shows, supporting our special events, and more. Donations, advertising, and fundraising account for over 80% of our annual revenue. All of this generous support over the years is the reason why we have won an unprecedented 15 national championships.
We have also been fortunate to host the Division I National Water Ski Show Tournament 22 times in 34 years, generating nearly $50 million in local tourism spending since 1975.
Businesses benefit from the Rock Aqua Jays. Individuals benefit because it helps bring business to our city, keeping people employed. Families have an inexpensive (free!) entertainment option as long as we continue performing shows.
We understand times are tough for everyone in and around our community. We are truly grateful for whatever level of support you may be able to provide.
