Aqua Jays award scholarships

These 2008 graduates each received a Kevin Freund Memorial Scholarship on behalf of the Rock Aqua Jays Water Ski Club, Inc. The scholarship fund was established in 1982 in memory of boat driver, Kevin Freund, who passed away as a result of a boating accident. Recipients must have been RAJ members for three consecutive years, one of which is to be their senior year in high school.

Traci Hanson

Traci, daughter of Andy & Judy Hanson, graduated from Craig High School in 2008. She is attending MATC in Madison, and plans to major in dental hygiene. Traci joined the Rock Aqua Jays in 2002.

Ben Kopp

Ben, son of Jeff & Ann Kopp, graduated from Juda High School in 2008. He is attending MATC in Madison, and plans to major in diesel and heavy equipment maintenance. Ben joined the Rock Aqua Jays in 2003.

Brittany Kotthaus

Brittany, daughter of Paul & Kim Kotthaus, graduated from Parker High School in 2008. She is attending Blackhawk Technical College and MATC, and plans to be a veterinary technician. Brittany joined the Rock Aqua Jays in 2003.

Austin Scieszinski

Austin, son of Mike & Gail Scieszinski, graduated from Craig High School in 2008. He is attending UW-Madison, and plans to major in finance or political science. Austin joined the Rock Aqua Jays in 2003.

Niki Scieszinski

Niki, daughter of Mike & Gail Scieszinski, graduated from Craig High School in 2008. She is attending UW-Milwaukee, and plans to major in marketing. Niki joined the Rock Aqua Jays in 2003.

Ian Slatter

Ian, son of Steve & Brenda Slatter, graduated from Parker High School in 2008. He is attending UW-Milwaukee, and plans to major in marketing. Ian joined the Rock Aqua Jays in 2000.

Dan Wallisch

Dan, son of Robert & Cindy Wallisch, graduated from Parker High School in 2008. He is attending Blackhawk Technical College, and plans to major in computer support. Dan joined the Rock Aqua Jays in 2001.
